I was just re-reading and I noticed something very interesting.

In chapter 135
Izumi says that the info Gantz shows is useless, but if you look at wht the alien likes, it has a connection to the other aliens that they are going to fight. For example in chapter 135 the likes appear as birds and lizards, that could be linked to the dinosaurs that appear later on. Also the yuzu alien (the robot looking one) likes birds, and the leader alien was a bird. So maybe this info isn't so useless afterall.

Well telling you what it is or will be facing isn't going to be that much help truth be told. If i'd had told you straight up that you'd be fighting unbelievably strong and strange aliens, is that going to make much difference when you encounter them?.

if u read on to phase 2 of gantz..u'll find tt gantz info on the aliens wld totally be pointless

the info given by Gantz isn't completely useless.. just that it is not sufficient to clear the whole stage. By phase 2 of Gantz, players can actually find out about the aliens by using their weapons ^^;

gantz info ain't much help at all. he just want to have fun seeing them fight. so his info doesn't matter.
