Well the previous thread was closed, but now I have managed with the admin.

Actually I wanted to know if somenone has information why the series is on hiatus and when there will be a continuation?

If I am not mistaken, Im dal Young is currently working on his other projects and thus put UxU on hold for now.
He does have six onging manhwa besides UxU afterall.
I believe there has been no indication as to when he plans to resume UxU at present.
All we can do is wait and hope it actually happens.
I for one would be pretty pissed if this were to stop at this pint

oh man i SOOO much want to see the continuation of that manhwa, cant believe he put such an awesome project on hold. 😢

yeah the manga seemed to come to an end...and suddenly the mangaka puts it on hold...not so good...

It could be that volume 10 is gonna be the last volume, and he just wants to take his time to think the finale over. to make it extra awesome 😎

Read on some other site, don't remember where offhand, that since UxU wasn't a huge hit in Korea, but was much better recieved in Japan, he's waiting until the Japanese tank releases catch up to volume 9 before he continues on with the series. So probably several more months before the series picks back up.

If that's the case then I'm gonna allow him to use a few more months to make an even better end. UxU is one of my favourite romance stories and probably my most favourite student-teacher story.
But I won't forgive him if the series would get some crappy ending or even being stopped >:-(

It may be true, but it is unforgivable to begin 2 new projects without finishing the previous ones.
I'm afraid that he is so taken by the new projects that he forgets the others.

and since right now there are 9 volumes out that would be the 10th.

that author has like a billion series ongoing, i don't think it is likely that he produced 10 volumes during the hiatus.

He means the hole manga will be complete with 10 volume's in Total, not 10 additional Volumes.
I think that rather then meaning that there will be One volume released every Month I think he means that there will be One chapter a month for then months and that will be the 10th volume that'll end it

anyway the only serie he ever managed to finish (or wrap up) was "zero" and he felt so bad about it that he had to do a sequel...

about the 10th volume it seems that i got astor wrong.
it was because i was not even thinking of a serialization for UxU in japan.
and i don't see the point: it has been serialized on a korean magazine and reached japan only as volumes. i still think it's more likely that the final volume will come out all at once without serialization on a magazine. but it's only my speculation, it's not based on anything. maybe astor is right on that issue too.
