why would i BUY something in english? if im already BUYING it, then id read it in hebrew, itll be way easier for me.

I know manga is not available to everyone. Scans are awesome, I download them though that's not really supporting the manga-ka. I like Viz's translation, it's funny and it's not all that different from the scanlations.

Manga is not available to me unless I really want to drive an hour to find a bookstore. I order online which most people can do. There are plenty of online stores that will find a way to send it to you. I know most stores deliver to a lot of countries, except maybe like the UK, but a friend of mine there somehow got some volumes.

If you just try and search around you can get them. But if they can't get in their own language, thats a different story. But the person I was talking to obviously spoke and understood English. Spanish is my first language, but I read everything in English. I think if you can understand some English, you would buy the volumes in English. If you can't, sure go get some scanlations in your own language. But right now I'm talking about the English scanlations.

But don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for them. Though if you really love a manga, buy it. I even buy the Japanese Ouran volumes. If you don't like it, I won't blame you if you don't buy it. I regret not reading a scanlation first of Mermaid Melody....but what I'm talking about here is that Ouran is no longer being scanlated so there's no use pressuring groups to scanlate it. You have no choice but to buy it.

Yea you can, but it depends on the site and where you live. I order from justmanga.com Though a good idea is to search around sites you find and see where they deliver to. Do you live outside the US? If so where? Maybe I can help you find a site.

you all talk about ordering manga books from sites. but in order to do that you need to have a credit card account that supports that option, and besides the delivery itself costs money, not to mention the fact that i live in a place that is really far away from the post office. english is my second language, i live in israel. but i wont BUY books in english, because it still harder for me to read them. it takes me twice the time to read english then to read hebrew. of course, if one of my relatives will go out of the country, i wont mind if the books r in english, or even japanese. itll help me learn the language faster. but i wont waste my money on stuff that might become a burden.

i've never personally seen the anime, but the manga is great....It just goes to show that hatori really knows what she's doing ^.^ I mean, the characters are great too....there really diverse in so many ways. You can tell she worked hard on trying to get there personalities down and consistent to how they react in certain situations... ^.^

Theres a credit card you can order online that's basically a prepaid card. You get it at greendotonline.com or something like that. That's what I use. There's probably other cards like that. Yea shipping costs a lot...when I order from Japan I have to pay like an extra 20 or 30 dollars. But most...uh..I'm not sure how to say it...'shipping companies' will deliver to your door. =.= Again though, you have to pay that little extra. But why pay all that when you can get it for FREE? Because like I said, if you really love it you would pay for it. Not everything in life is free, and with no more Ouran scanlations anytime soon you have to find a way to get the English volumes.

Though I don't blame you. If I didn't understand English that well, I wouldn't buy the English volumes. I just buy the Japanese volumes because it's pretty cool to have, and it's the original manga so I'm supporting Bisco. ^^ Also it does help if you're trying to learn kanji since I have the English and Japanese version.

But I do download a lot of manga. I have like 11 GB of manga, but if I find a manga I like I buy it. There's really no point in buying a manga you don't like.
