ive come to the conclusion that in quality, plot, and overall readability shounen and seinen romance mangas surpass all other genres. Bias, maybe but still i cant help but
but "bitch" and moan about the lack of stories and the abundance of the shoujo virus. I thinks its the fact that though in shounen, mangakas incorporate the male's perverse "echii" mindset they also, usually include (though sometimes excruciatingly short) inserts into the psyche of the female character as well. Well thats my opinion give yours

I don't really like Shoujo romances that much.

Romance in shounen/seinen: A regular guy that has never been outstanding in studies, work, sports or anything else meets by chance a really hot: alien, vampire, robot, nekomimi, spirit, goddess, lost half sister or regular high school girl who falls in love of him for some really stupid reason, and the guy ends with a complete harem of these kind of girls.

Romance in shoujou/josei: A really clumsy but cute girl falls in love with a really hot: vampire bishie, robot bishie, spirit bishie, bishie god, lost half bishie brother or regular high school bishie that is very cold, arrogant and might probably rape her. Then another bishie appears that happens to be the other bishie's rival. With the power of her love, the bishie discovers his kind soul, falls for the girl and live happily ever after.

I'm sure that I just described at least half of all romance in manga, and I think that stories in general are unreal and stupid.

But......there are not bishies in Shounen/seinen, and for only that reason I vote for those genders
