Seal of the Red Ram was splitted into 2 volumes. Just have 2 questions for the fans of this series. In volume 4, part 2 before Cain and Meridiana left for the mad doctor, Riff picked up Cain's cufflink, why did it snap, and what did that have anything to do with the plot of the story?

Also, they never explained where Oscar Gabriel got the bloodstain on his cufflink? Or they did and I just couldn't find it?!
