I stopped reading this around 60-70 where Utsumi confessed at the festival and got together with Yuki. So is it worth it for me to continue reading or is there way too much pointless angst and misunderstandings etc...

I think the story is definitely worth continuing, since his struggles doesn't end there after they get together. It's not all fun and games after they get together like what you would expect.

If the angst and misunderstandings made you stop reading I would say you may not want to try again. It keeps happening and it only grows stronger. As of chapter 103 it just got even more dramatic.

From what I remember.... too much pointless angst and frustrating misunderstandings. A good romance knows when to stop repeating the same old formula.... This one doesn't -----> situation arises where the two are together, relationship develops, misunderstanding happens, introduce new/old love interest, have main pairing together again..... repeat for 60 chapters. =__=

Edit: After reading the latest Chapter (104).... I stand by what I have written

That's pretty much what I wanted to know..... I hate relationship manga where everything gets fked up because of one small misunderstanding and the MC's inability to talk and explain.
I guess I'm keeping GE on hold until someone tells me it's gotten a LOT better.

Well 105 was really nice but the last page made lol and say uh oh... Lets see what that person will tell to the other :x

GE is at chapter 120 for scanlations now and I want to try asking again... is it worth continuing or did it go downhill after Utsumi+Yuki?

Yep there is still angst and misunderstandings but he's in a relationship at the moment and as of ch 120 he's made some serious progress.

If you're a Utsumi/Yuki fan it went downhill. If you like Utsumi/Shou it went up. You should see some of the ppl over at mangafox right now. Its pretty amusing. Someone even got angry enough to drop it. 🤣

I actually like Shou better, so I think i'll pick it up again from ~ch 60-70 after I finish reading my current manga.
And if there's more misunderstandings/angst and he breaks up with Shou i'll be as angry as that mangafox guy.

You'll see. Not to drop any spoilers, but should this situation come up, just keep at it. Chapter 120 is worth it.

but seriously, compared to the face Utsumi is making when he was going out with Yuki and to the face his making now when going out with Shou, you can clearly see that he's more happy and content with the former than the latter.

And honestly, why don't just Yuki made up her mind? It really do show that she's really in love with Utsumi.

The way I see this story, I think there will be a day that Utsumi will go out again with Yuki, although I don't know how will it happen though.
