Does anyone understand what happened in the end...?

I am absolutely lost. What relationship was the mangaka trying to build between Alice's sister (Lorina) and Peter?
Why is Peter the most special?
Did Alice know Peter in the real world? From where?
Why is Lorina shown in a coffin?

The only thing I can come up with is that Lorina passed away and was reincarnated as Peter since images of Alice + Lorina keeps popping up when talking about how Peter is special.
However, how did Lorina die?

I think that Peter is like a manifestation of lorina? but not lorina, because that would be weird if lorina wanted to kiss alice(like peter does, etc)
I think it's explained in the games more, though. there was a forum that said lorina died of some illness before the series started and alice thinks she's at fault since she moved out of the house and was arguing with lorina about it.

i have no idea about the rest, and also a lot of the times mangaka will forget about relationships/symbolism/etc, so i wouldn't look into it too much. there are a lot of plot holes:/.

because it basically explains what you're already supposed to understand according to the otome game. Apparently the mangaka didn't even get it all right, haha. But I think you'll even like the manga more after you read this. I did 🙂
