Do you think you will ever quit?
I've no idea, but probably and unfortunatly I might have end up saying maybe to that.
I mean, I feel as if i'm already starting to lose interest. It's tough finding new stuff to read, and I'm just not that hooked on manga as I used to be.
Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but I've noticed I've cut down a lot. Which is a good thing mind you. When I do eventually read one, I feel all good inside because I'm like "I haven't done this for a while".
For anime though, I've only recently just started watching a lot of series. (Blames the ipod touch for this) It will probably continue like this for a while, i'll stop, then go back to it again until I've seen everything I want to 🤣
So maybe, I won't end up quitting, but it might end up a 'once in a while' thing in a few years time. Especially if I'm gonna be at uni and stuff.
Maybe, after the green thing eats all of the stuff! 🤣
Being serious, I have no idea, maybe I will stop reading as much as I do, but I will still read some from time to time.

I really don't know, but I think I will stop eventually. Like the majority of the posters here, I have the same problem. Getting old and having a more mature perspective on life takes away a bit out of the fun factor of anime/manga that you used to love dearly.
I have been watching anime since I was fourteen years old, now I'm eighteen years old. I already watched less and less anime last year, mostly because I didn't have the time or the sources, so in that instant I kinda lost that feeling of the obsession and addiction. However, I still watch anime daily, some times in marathons, but some times with a break of few days between; which I didn't had in the past. So I can already see I'm starting to become less interested in anime/manga.
When I graduate from college and get a job, perhaps I won't find the time to watch any anime at all. But I believe, just maybe, that I will watch some anime, although not as much as I used to. I fear I won't watch any anime at all anymore. I would feel like I'm missing out on something. After all these years and probably some more years to come, I just can't imagine my life without watching anime once in a while.
Who says nothing is impossible? I've been doing nothing for years.

I've been watching anime since...well, before I can even remember. And I've been reading manga ever since I could read, but as I became older (I'm 26 now), things really started to cool down for me. Every now and then I'll read a manga like Usagi Drop, My Girl, Hikari to Tomo ni, etc. So not only did the amount of anime/manga that I used to consume decrease (drastically 😛 ), but now, I usually read more stuff along the lines of slice of life. Not on purpose, it just happens shrug.
I still love the hell out of One Piece, horror manga, and a few other shounen manga, too. Everytime I go visit my relatives in Japan, I'll pick up an issue of "Jump" and anything else that looks interesting at that time. So no, I don't think I'll ever stop. I just read less stuff now because of work, etc.
These days though, I probably spend more time translating stuff to help others out than actually reading/watching and enjoying stuff on my own 😳

I'm 33 and still as hooked as I was 10 years ago. So no, I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. Maturity? Being mature at work is enough for me, when I'm home I want to be as immature as I can. Which is a lot. Reading loads of manga and watching anime is just a small part of it.

I can't see myself not watching anime or reading manga, so I'm hoping I will continue to for years and years to come.
I have become less of a rabid fangirl though. heh...

I don't think I'll lose interest, it would just happen less and less as I gain more responsibilities. Although, the time spent on mangas is really dwindling as of late while I prepare to be an adult, and join the workforce.

Slowly getting there. I don't even read/watch the stuff I download anymore. Anyway, feels as if I read this somewhere before.
I'm pretty sure it was an old poll.

Yeah, probably.
But I don't see myself stopping for good. I would read it from time to time.
