I don't know because as I get older I start to lose interest in things that I use to enjoy as a child.I guess time will only tell.

I hope not, I really love manga but I feel like I might grow out of it. Lately I'm not into my manga as much as I once was 🙁

If I ever really lose interest, then of course I'll quit reading manga (not much of an anime watcher, never have been).

Given the wide variety of manga, I'll probably always be able to find SOMEthing I enjoy reading no matter old I am. 😃

Why would I? I've read manga since I learned how to read, and watched anime even longer. I don't watch TV much nowadays, but I'll always watch anime every now and then. There's manga everywhere, and they're easier to read than books, so I don't see myself stopping reading them even if I didn't especially like manga (and I do like manga). Though I don't see myself stopping reading books either.

To you who are talking about growing out of it and losing interest in things you enjoyed when you were kids and such: do you perhaps only read Naruto and such crap? Those are from little kids, and even such they suck. There's manga for adults too, you know.

I have got to the point at which the number of anime and manga I actually would like to read have slimmed down a lot. There is hardly any new stuff that interest me so I would say that I would personally never quit since with all the amount of shit you can get there will always be good things. It just means that I will have to watch less Anime and read less manga as less and less stuff are to my liking.

I don't watch anime anymore. I would rather go through 10 chapters in an hour than watch those same 10 chapters in an anime that is extended to 5 episodes.

But as for manga, I do not know for sure. Eventually, I'll be too old with too many responsibilities to be able to sit down and read manga. Hopefully, that time does not come soon.

I can't say for sure..but maybe..
Who knows what will happen in the future but right
now I still have plenty of interest in manga.

No one knows the future, except those who do. 🙂 But life still seems a little dull without manga.....I hope I still like it 50 years from now.

I hope not. However, it is inevitable and I'm already starting to unconsciously quit anime . . . >_____>

To be perfectly honest, I thought I would have stopped reading manga a year and a half ago, yet here I am. I'm sure I'll eventually slow down, but at this point in time, I don't think I'll ever completely stop reading it...I'll probably pick up a volume or two once in a while years from now.

I've slowed my rate of reading manga and watching anime considerably over the past couple of years, but it's hard to say that I'll ever just quit especially since it's still fun to do. And like TofuQueen said, there's so much manga/anime out there that I can always find something to read/watch.

Quote from soraking

unless the anime wasnt created based on manga xD

There's no fillers in mangas that are based on anime. Anime episodes come faster than manga chapters. If manga is ongoing and anime is supposed to go on along the manga, then there's fillers so that the anime doesn't caught up to the manga.

Not in the foreseeable future. In the last year or two my manga reading has been done since I first started reading scanlations. My video game addiction came back. I still download plenty (storing for marathons) and read a couple of chapters each day.

The next time I answer this question would probably be when I'm experiencing parenthood?
