Do you think you will ever quit?

I've taken a break from anime and manga for like a year or two before but I've never actually quit. And I doubt I will ever stop liking it.

I don't think I'll ever quit. I start reading when I was 5 or 6 (if you count Doraemon & Dragon Ball XD), and I'm 22 now, almost graduate from college. There're times I'm busy with too many things, so I read less. Study, career, relationships, family, friends, fashion & beauty & makeup, other hobbies... always been trying to do a good job in everything, but I'm still able to spend some hours a week reading. I don't think we can be too busy to stop reading things we like. So the matter is if we'll stop liking them. I don't think I will (as long as there're good stuff out there).

I used to play video games all the time when I was in middle school and high. But now I only play video games once in awhile, then I play for a couple of days then I stop. I don't really watch anime, I think the last anime I watched was about a year ago and I don't remember what it was.
In reference to manga, I'm a collector at heart and I have the feeling I'll be buying manga for a long time, not necessarily read them but just to collect them.
I collect manga's, kitchen stuff and knives.

This...
But I don't collect manga... I just LOVE to read... and mangas are books, that rely heavily on images 😛

I believe in letting people do as they wish, as do I myself. Sometimes, of course, what I wish to do is kill them and they do not wish to die. This gives life interest.

I've actually lost that "feeling" I had whenever I watched an anime or read a manga. Right now nothing really impresses me it's like I've seen or read it all. I have a bunch of anime episodes and a whole bunch of manga series that are just waiting for me on my computer but I never feel like watching or reading them, at all :/
So basically I am just waiting for everything that I follow to finish so I can go on with my life.

This.
Living in the UK didn't get much of chance to watch anime so I missed all the old animes like Dragon Ball etc. My first anime series was Pokemon this was when I was 10. Fastforward 5 years later and I started watching InuYasha. Finished the anime series and moved onto Bleach. This was when my anime craze started and I was watching hundreds of different anime of all types, Rurouni Kenshin, Full Metal Panic, Monster, Chobits, Kure-nai, Code Geass, Nodame Cantabile (too many to list). Somewhere along this period I read my first manga, Inuyasha (the Anime hadn't completed it's storyline at this point so I finished it via the manga). My anime obsession slowly turned into a manga obsession untill I was reading manga exclusively, now I pretty much never watch anime. I was literally reading 20 different series at any one time. Then suddenly I stopped. A lot of the series I had been reading I have just abandoned. Right now I'm just reading Bleach, although I will keep reading a couple of other series like The Breaker, Team Medical Dragon and Good Ending whenever they get updated.
So yeah I've also lost that 'feeling'. Not sure why though, most probably due to having far greater responsibilites right now, more pressing concerns/issues etc. Still I will always cherish my anime/manga adventures and I hope the anime/manga community continues to thrive. 😁

Probably not. Just not as much I mean a couple years ago I would marathon an entire anime series... Actually I did that again like a week ago but it had been a while. I won't be teading dozens of series though. I'll tell you that right now.

I quit every now and then then come back. I might quit soon since I'm going to college.....but there are so many series I want to finish, many of which don't seem to be ending any time soon.
But probably midway during college, I'll stop for good.

I feel like I will be quiting very soon.
Certain aspects of mangas are getting annoying and boring
I'm not really excited to read most new chapter releases
No one gives a shit what trite garbage you write here.

I haven't read a chapter in almost a year, yet I still visit this site about once a day.
yup, I know I will. but if i was asked this question 5 months ago then I would have said "no"
Maybe by the next year or two I'll stop reading. I don't think I can afford the time to keep reading manga, I'm not as into it as I was when I first started many years ago. Though I don't think I can always avoid reading manga, I'll probably read a series once every three or four months or so or some anime pops up on TV and I'll watch that. Someone helped me realize how much time I wasted reading, I don't regret it as much, but I know I should have put better use of that time, I'm quite grateful that someone pointed out my "insanity" of manga lol. I mean no one lives forever.
I'll just finish reading the ones that I started or drop them, then I'll leave but I know I'll come back once in a while. Manga is kind of like a drug...it's something you can't truly forget if it's been part of your life for the past few handful of years.

I hear you say "Why?" Always "Why?" You see things; and you say "Why?" But I dream things that never were; and I say "Why not?"

I don't read and watch as much as I used to, but I am still very involved in the scanlation community. I tend to go in bursts now, I'll read a lot then not touch anything for a couple months. Though I doubt I will ever quit. My family loves cartoons and comics to much, no matter where they come from. My mother still watches anime with me.
