Don't think I'll ever quit totally, however I'll probably reduce the amount by far.

Probably not. I've been into manga since I was about 11, and the only thing that's really changed is my tastes. I used to be really into manga for little girls ('cause I was one lol) but now I'm really big on seinen and jousei, along with classic manga and older authors (Tezuka, the year 24 group, etc), though I still have no problem revisiting and enjoying a little slice of my childhood ^^;
Over the years, I've become more compulsive about buying manga- I used to maybe buy 7 or 8 a year, I'm now getting about 15-25 a month. So my hobby/money-draining addiction isn't going anywhere anytime soon. (If I ever get to go to Japan, I pretty much could kiss all my savings goodbye, lolol)
nope never 😀

Yes. That's my plan. I'm trying to sell my manga, and stuff...but it's hard since I don't want to sell it online and where I live manga isn't that famous... I might end up throwing them...and I don't wanna do that, I've spent too much money on them... T__T
Anyways, I'm on my way of quitting. 😀

I don't really see how you can say the bestseller list tends to be diverse when 90% of it is just the same plots regurgitated.
Well I don't think I ever stated bestseller to be diverse in the first place. Also I just think bestsellers are "unique" because they are written, most of them, in modern times. Different culture influences different authors. And different times changes the culture and thus changes the author and the book.
I don't particularly care if a book won some prestigious prize or not. That's not why I read books. I read them, and then I decide their merit. I take recommendations from bestsellers but I don't discriminate against those books who never won any awards or made it to the top either.
For example, The Lord of The Ring trilogy, when first written, no publishing company would accept it. All of them told Tolkien it wasn't good. And then after a couple of years, it was finally fully published and now, we all know it.
On Sherlock Holmes, well, it is a classic, but when high school textbook divides up the stories into sections so we can all "analyze" the writing style instead of focusing on the story, then the story is just ruined.

Probably, yes.
Lately I haven't read any manga, just because I haven't found the time to.
there was a period when I had to read everyday, or I couldn't sleep, but that lessened over time.Seeing how much less I read now, in comparison to back then, I would say, yes, most likely I'll quit reading in a few years.

I will probably. I haven't watched a single jp/kr drama in 3yrs (and I used to watch 3-4 every seasons), anime gets worse by the season, so I haven't watched anything in the last 3 seasons, but I still follow quite a few manga. The thing is reading a bunch of chapters takes still much less time than watching one single anime/drama episode. Will I quit? I would say yes, it will happen because even after reading so many different manga/genres, there is bound to be some redundancy and at some point it will get boring.

I really don't know, I've been watching anime for ~4 years now and manga for ~2 years.
I do like it now, but I don't know if it'll stay that way...
We'll see I guess 😉
maybe until I have better things to do... but until then, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I read more then new chapters I want to read come out. So I think I will stop for some time and then start again so I can read a bulk, But the times between reading will get longer and then you just stopped without even noticing 😛
