Just recently, a fighting game we used to play in school on pc popped into my mind, but I really can't remember the title anymore...
Afair, it had anime-style chibi figures it was in 2d (you could count, how many pixels a character had with good eyesight and a little patience 🙂 ) but you could move around in 4 dimensions (up down left right)
About, the characters, I nearly forgot all of them -.- I just remember on guy with a special attack that'd shoot some icicles out of the ground in front of him.
Also, I'm pretty sure it had deathmatch or something similar, where at least 4 people could participate (or was it only vs bots - but I doubt that...)

I hope someone knows what I'm looking for.
If it's just a guess that's fine too, I'll know if it is what I'm looking for when I see some pics.
