It's a shame it seems everybody dropped this. With 8 volumes it sounds as if the manga would have expanded well beyond where the anime left off.

The Dey Ray volumes up to 5 are great (It's worth it, it's the only manga I've purchased without wincing.). After that there are numerous scripts for chapters available. Things get really good where the anime left off.

Well, Hyena-Scans released v.3 c.11 today, so hopefully it'll be picked up by them (or anyone else for that matter)

Glad they've begun scanning again.
I'll probably end up doing what you did and buying this one anyway for a hard copy. Kaibutsu Oujo is one of my all time favorites.
