I was wondering how much the two differ towards the end cuz I can't seem to find episode 17, so do ya think if I start reading from Chap 1 I will basically be covered on the events that happen in Ep 17-Until R2? 😳

All of the manga adaptations are utterly different from the anime, and aren't scanlated remotely enough to be used as a guide anyway.

You're going to want to find 17-25 of season one and watch them. They're not really a part of the story you can skip or substitute.
