College is a time to act stupid and pretend to study. Ok, so it's not, but that's what the movies would like us all to believe.

Me personally, I have very few good college stories, but I've always found stories about this period of one's life to be very interesting.

So share if you got em.

Here's mine:

One time, I put up an add looking for musicians to play with. I got a response from this guy in Costa Mesa, which was close to my college town. Go and pick him up. He looks kinda bummy, full beard and whatnot. So we take off, and I ask him where we were going to go jam, as he had said he had a place. Turns out he didn't and wanted to go jam in a parking garage. Ok, no big deal. Then he asks me if my car registration is current. 😕 Then he tells me that he just got out of jail and had recently violated his parole, and if we got pulled over, he'd be in deep shit.

Moral of the story, if people look shady, they probably are.

I'm quite the burly young man. And I carried a knife in my car because I worked in a not so nice area. But yeah, he was that kind of guy.

lol, wait, you're some creepy guy driving around in a van with a knife looking for companionship with strangers? lol I think you're more creepy than that guy....

Does what you do in the not so nice area including giving out free candies to kids? Or perhaps free food to the homeless people? 🤣

So how did you get rid of him? I mean surely he made you drive quite a distance before letting you stop....did he make you....do bad things? things he learned in prison? 😲

creepy college story for valentine's day
how did you get out from that situation?

so my story
For my internships program, i was put in underdeveloped areas (desolate village) for a whole month (with my team). Minimum electricity capacity : 200 watts/house (most of them don't use electricity though), no clean water, and no internet connection... rarely get a signal for phone. You could smell the "dung" from the wind blowing through your bedroom at night. The dirt fell on your bed everyday. Hundreads of baby spider found in the wardrobe. We grew and ate mushrooms... our patrons insisted us to eat fried i don't know what it's called insects. And the neighboring village where the other team was placed, just did an exorcism 😲 believe it or not..., coz someone got trance.
The landscape surrounding that area just like "The Lost World" version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
**At least, i can see amazing views there.. and learn traditional cultures, which is unrelated at all (considering marketing management is my major) with this useless a must follow program to acquire a graduation certificate.
