I've been using this site for years without knowing if this kind of advanced search is possible here. For example, if I search for the category "student teacher relationship" I get a ton of Yaoi. How can I make a search that leaves out all the Yaoi?

Or, oppositely, how would I do a category search only for manga that have BOTH those category tags, which would be an AND search?

I'm kind of slow, I guess....

Well, I managed to figure out how to exclude the GENRE Yaoi. But can you search for one tag and exclude some other tags that tend to come along with it?

The advanced search engine has an explanation if you want to include or exclude genre and categories... even without the explanations, I think it is plain obvious.

The advanced search of this site is one of the most complete I've seen in manga/anime sites.

You add a hyphen before the tag you want to exclude. For example, to exclude weak female lead, you would type, "-weak female lead".
