The latest trend in my uni WAS to sneeze in the face of someone else... that was until said people started to get broken noses in return.

There have been a number of cases of it where I live (including the death of one infant). I've seen a couple people wearing those masks down in the city and stuff too. I think its probably a little overblown, but I guess I am a little worried.

Yeah, I heard about it. 2 schools in my district got closed down because one person got it and spread it to the rest of the school. O__O;; I WISH MY SCHOOL HAD IT. X__X

yep since i live in miami, and we hve ppl coming in and out of the country from central america and mexico, there is ppl worrying alot. A school in a a nearby district has already been closed down because there was big case of students hving it, they are even thinking of closing down my own school 😲

One of my friends is freaking out because schools end this week and she has to go home, where there was a single confirmed case of swine flu. Personally, I'm pretty "whatever" about the whole thing. Course, I boarder on being a fatalist, so that does kind of help.

They haven't even proved that it's the "swine flu" that is killing humans. The only thing they have proved is that it's not the same thing that the pigs died of. Which is why they've started calling it "the new flu" (or something...) instead.

To clarify, they have no proof that the disease comes from pigs. So stopping to eat.. err.. pigs doesn't make any difference.

People are just too skittish to these sorts of things... -.-
