Actually, I found that reading yaoi confirmed that I am indeed a "straight" girl. Very straight. Tried reading yuri but it didn't pumped my heart like yaoi did. So yeah, my sexuality is confirmed 😉

I don't think that your sexuality can be "confirmed" by what you read. Yaoi isn't just for het people and can be read and enjoyed by anyone. I have a lesbian friend who likes yaoi and hates yuri. Liking yaoi doesn't confirm your sexuality.

i'm bi and i knew that before i started reading yaoi and yuri. i think reading yaoi makes me think about sex more but not really about my sexuality. like i like reading s&m yaoi so i start thinking maybe i would be into s&m, but when i think about what it would actually be like i'm like no probably couldn't handle that

i think reading yaoi probably makes people fantasize about two guys being together but i don't think any girl reading it is thinking i want to become a guy so i can be with another guy like how it is in yaoi

I read yaoi, yuri, loli, shota and hentai for fun, but that doesn't mean I'm a pedo. Does reading Yuri mean I'm attracted to women? No.

I mostly get off on reading yaoi, yuri and hentai with really good plotlines and art. That's what I look for in mangas.
