Nope. Well, I'd rather my online persona STAY online, so not even photos have ever been posted. I am a bit curious though... but no, never. Not to mention my parents wouldn't allow and I don't dare myself too.

A couple of times. I had a friend moving from Seattle to New York (Or was it the other way around?) and he pretty much stopped to see everyone he even kinda knew on the way. I was fun. We played a bunch of board games for some reason. It was his new hobby and it was already one of mine so it was fun.
The other is that well, I go to a lot of conventions of various sorts and the big ones have a lot of people. It's fairly obvious that they raw some of the internet crowds I'm in.

Yeah met once with a girl from a band-forum when I was 14-15. Not a experience I necessairly want to remember, given the fact that her sister/parents was going to call the police on me .The thing is, although she was nice enough to let me stay overnight at her house (I lived 5 hours from her hometown), I quickly discovered that she hadn't said anything to her parents about me actually -being there-. Which resulted in a series of....very unpleasent events lol.
...and I was also forced to spend most of my 2 day trip in her balcony (which she locked btw) to not be discovered. Didn't work out that well.
Because I'm not that fond of being trapped in a balcony on a shitty scandinavian summer, I, as a wise 14-15 year old, decided to break all contact with her the minute I came home. Haven't talked with her since.

Yes, someone from this forum. Hopefully someday I'll get to meet even more.

No. And I have no desire to. In my mind, the internet and RL should always be two separate worlds.

I can finally say yes, I have. Last summer in August while I was on vacation. He's my best friend, and it was the first time we ever met in person. Best day of the life, without a doubt. Hope to do it again next year if the money's there.
Other than that, I haven't. Honestly thought I'd meet my previous girlfriend before him being she lives so much closer. But things worked out the way they should, and I have great confidence I'll be able to meet her one day too.
Well, I guess I can't blame her parents for being like that at her age. But at the same time, it was very irresponsible of her NOT to tell her parents. Sounds like a highly uncomfortable situation to be in, hope that won't scar you enough to avoid meeting internet friends in your future.

I think it's twice but definitely at least once.
One was easy to remember because we met up for the NY Yankees parade after another World Series win and we were both fans. We were online friends from a GameFAQs StarCraft channel.
Another I can't be sure but I'm pretty sure a online friend told me to go to his apartment in Manhattan to give me tons of burned anime CDs. It definitely got me addicted than just being a fan of Dragonball, DBZ and a few other popular anime as a really young boy.

Internet people stays as internet people in my case. I just don't see the point of meeting in real life when they live hundred or thousand miles away from you. It's a waste of time. Just meet on the internet where you've met.

Not that I know of.
I prefer to keep online relationships online, I am not a people person.

I've had a few opportunities but never had the guts to go through with it. I'm always scared that both of us find out that we like our online selves better than our IRL ones. That's not to say I'm totally fake online, I'm just way more articulate than I am in real life. XD

I have a story that fits this topic.
Years ago I used to play a game online and became friends with another player, only to find out that they went to the same high school I was going to. We happened to be in the same year, but didn't know each other at all. We couldn't believe we actually first met online. What are the chances. huh?

wow, I just realised that I don't have friends even online.
...
wow. I'm not a sociable person, so it's nothing new, but still...
(I do have a few normal friends)
