Calluses on Your Feet

I get them in summertime; I walk almost exclusively in bare feet during the summer, so I get calluses from that. In winter they shrink back to normal skin, but some of the calluses on my heels and toes never disappear completely.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

Eh? Isn't that the first option? 🤣
Uh huh. Not when I asked that question.
You lie.
She lies, tactics! :<
I made the poll with "never" in it, I even voted for it. 🤨 [/quote]
I'm trying to make you look bad. Of course I lie.

Of course, I have Calluses.
It's a way for the body to protect itself from the constant wear of walking. They're especially appreciated when I'm running in flip-flops.

Calluses?
Yeah, sure, always.
I barely remember the times I didn't have any.
I take a bus/taxi/lift only for very long distances... Usually, I walk from place to place.
If you mean blisters, then it's been a while.
I barely wear anything other than sport shoes and the like, since I just don't like being uncomfortable.
Heel shoes do give me blisters, so I tend to avoid them.
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

I get them frequently.
I rarely wear heels, but they are a pain when I do wear them. xD
I think most of my calluses come from my cleats for Ultimate and my spikes for Track.
And sometimes when I'm wearing new flats, but I eventually break into them and gone they go~
I get em on my hands from lifting weights.
I run with insoles, so I don't get calluses anymore.

I've always had calluses on my feet, though thats because I go barefoot whenever I can get away with it. I've gotten them on my hands before as well from using swim paddles.

Not really hard calluses, but since I do taekwondo (bare feet) I have them all the time. You can't really tell though.

Got them in in a few places but are not really noticeable.
Mostly Due to the fact that we sit on the floor a lot while being bare on the feet.

I have them on a few places on my feet. Since I walk the majority of the time. But they're not that noticeable. But if you touch them, you know they're there. __;

Ever since I was little I really wanted to get big, ugly, yellow calluses on my hands and feet because of the book Ramona's World. 🤣 I spent hours on the monkey rings, but all I managed to damage were my knees and my pride.
I've never even had one callus. It's this darn ingrained skin-care routine. When I was younger I would sometimes get small blisters from my cheap sandals, but they were all disappointingly painless.
