I'm looking to make a music vid just for school and I need a good song that has to do with the idea that people live behind masks. Obviously not literal masks but just that they tend to hide what they are really thinking or feeling.
Any suggestions on a good song for it?

Edit: The concept I'm working on involves depicting how inner thoughts dont match up with what being shown on the outside. Kinda like what they do in this vid [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0zGTV6LByI[/url] I'm changing stuff around obviously but just using the idea of how they show the spoken words compared to inner thoughts.

hmmm... maybe Adam Lambert's "Mad World"? i think it would fit, and the mood of this song definitely fits ^^(that's only a little fragment of the song)

oh, and Jem "They" would be good too 😉

then maybe also: Superchick "Hey Hey" thou i'm not so sure...

possibly but not likely: Sucker Punch "Sweet Dreams(Are made of this)" 🙂

I had thought of using this song but was a bit unsure cause sounds a bit heavy at times. Love it though.

Definitely some to think about, quiet a variety I must say.

There doesn't have to be really any link to masks in the song, more about deception or lying. For example one of the first that came to mind for me was Newport Living by Cute is What We Aim For [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV3W5VDZkGg[/url]

I liked the line 'if you lie you don't deserve to have friends' and the mention of selling out and just seeming fake and the fact that it was rocky but not too hard if you know what I mean.

I know I'm being a little picky but I really appreciate the help. Gotta say I love the speedy responses too 🙂
