Shojo or josei or seinen where best friend is jealous of MC getting into relationship

I'm looking for a manga where the best friend (same or opposite sex) cannot cope with their friend getting into a relationship. This could be for any reason -- they have a crush on the MC (or their boyfriend/girlfriend) OR they're scared of losing the friendship/#1 spot OR they are just a massive hater.
Willing to read most anything -- horror, slice of life, drama, psychological, yuri, yaoi, etc. so long as it follows the theme. My preference is for slice of life, more mature characters (josei or seinen although this trope is popular in shoujo), themes of growing up and maturing, romance, and a tall order: healthy conflict resolution, lol.

How about this one Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku
Though it's not about them dating yet, but I believe we are on a way to it. MCs' friends on both sides are against them interacting with each other because of the conflict between two schools.
So far, a lot of attention was paid to the topic of prejudice.
Also, personal opinion, both ML and FL have lovable personalities.
P.S. Just noticed that it's labeled as shounen, I legit thought of it as a shojo with a male POV, talk about being inattentive...

No, this is great. I usually do a filtered search and exclude shounen (I'm trying to be better about branching out...) so this is wonderful. Thank you!! Seems cute.

It's really common in shoujo and it gets dramatic and ugly quickly. But the manga that inspired the post actually has the opposite plot, lol: it was Tomodachi no Hanashi (https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=59570).
