It could just be me, but I think the fat black cat was cute. Especially when at the end when Chii was playing with him. Sure, the cat looked ugly at first, but hey, he grew on me. I liked him cuz he defined cat 😛 , not caring what humans thought. So one vote for Kuroi cat.

I like Chi, but I also like Cocchi (The panda-looking kitten who shows up in the latest volume) because he's kind of stuck-up and has this certain childish, self-absorbed attitude, but he's still a kitten who enjoys kitten-things. I also like Alice because, well, let's face it, who doesn't like the snooty persian archetype? lol!
