Hi y'all, first time recruiting here...Gum is currently looking for 1-2 proofreaders for a big "scanlation project" (I normally don't look for freelance proofers this but this time it's a bit special and I'm getting a tiny bit disparate due to a proofer shortage...so this is your once-in-a-lifetime chance to help the gum out!)

I'm looking for motivated people with previous proofreading experience (the more the better), have a good grasp of the English language (grammar nazis are welcome), and will be reasonably free in the next few weeks (school's out!).

If you think you've got what it takes, contact me through pm with your info, including your previous experience and anything that'll convince me you're the best proofer in town. I'll send you a small test and we'll go from there.

I can't talk about the specifics of the project here but once I have made a decision, I'll email you all the details, but expect to proofread big chunks of text. What I can tell you: unless you have absolutely no love for scanlation, this will very likely be a memorable and special (proofreading) experience for you.
