I wouldn't mind it then. After all, the main thing is that I don't want to be embarrassed by the guy when I go out with him. It's really weird when you see a well dressed girl and a slobby guy going out together.

Did you ladies ever think that the guys in high school/college in not so good looking clothes actually don't come from the most wealthy of families? I know I personally can't afford $30+ pants and $20+ shirts. :/

You're probably cutting out some decent guys who are going to have good futures.

If the comment was partly directed at me. I never base it on fashion. (I can't afford anything more than $30 right now too 😢 ) I even liked this guy who have no freak'n clue on how to dress himself! I thought it was cute and I so wanted to shop for him.

i do consider it. I'm a frugal person when it comes to clothes. i shop clearence racks and flea markets; i sometimes modifies clothes! the most expensive thing i buy is shoes!! (shoes is different!) for me, a guy can buy packets of nice white tees and beaters! pants can be the cheapest if it's the most durable, as long as it's presentable!

Dressing fashionably and dressing well are different. A guy who dresses well (at least in my opinion) isn't necessarily rich. A normal t-shirt and jeans is totally okay. It's when you look like you just woke up, without even brushing your hair, that makes the girls turn away.

the most expensive things I buy are earrings. Earrings with silver in it. <3

I also buy cheap clothes... but we're in school, so who cares if our clothes are cheap? I'll buy them when I become top top professional person.

Exactly! I, being the cheap, money-grabbing, Chinese person that I am, hate to spend more than $20 on any piece of clothing (except dresses). Target is my friend, along with Forever21. I hate overpriced stores like American Eagle and Hollister. The only time I think an expensive piece of clothing is worth it when it's actually designed (unlike AE) with a famous brand (ie. Gucci, Louis Vuitton).

However, I'm too cheap to actually buy stuff like that. xD

me too! i agree wholeheartedly! target, marshal's, all stores' clearence racks!
but my fashion obsession are shoes! nice girly shoes, no sneakers or fllats, has to have a bit of heel to it. same thing with earrings; has to be real silver!!

@xissix6: I LOVE HIGH HEELS!!! I think, I'd die without high heels. I can't stand wearing the ones that are only like 1-2inches. It feels so awkward without at least 3inches. But I like flats. Some of them are ugly, but some of them are really cute. What I don't understand is the craze with flip flops and ...CROCS. Those things are ugly as hell. Seeing anyone wear that makes me shudder.

Oops.. Yeah, guys with piercings are hot. But those without are okay too. I also think guys with glasses can be good looking too.. 😀
