shinichi X ran
natsu X erza
ippo X kumi
naruto X gaara

I like the manga, but it's too short to make an anime series out of it, probably an OVA or a movie would be better.

It's not anime material. More like TV drama or live-movie material. I wouldn't mind a movie.

I agree that this would be much better adapted into a JDrama rather than an anime; doesn't seem like anime-material.
