This isn't to debate whether time travel is actually possible or not. I'm just curious to know if you could travel to any time, where would it be to and why?
I would love to travel to the year 3000 a.d. just to see how far technology has taken us. Maybe bring back a PS15 or something, and make all my friends jealous that I can connect it to my brain and play inside the game. 😛

After reading ouke no monshou and red river, i'd say the past >_> just to get to hot pharaohs, but no, reality is not like that sadly. Future, yes for technologies, and see if Tablets are cheaper.... and grab one 😛

um.... if I travel to the future, people will grab me and lock me in a lab, right..? then no... not the future.
past = dinosaurs! I ♥ dinosaurs!!! (not really..) I think I'll travel back to the time when I was 0, and re-live my life entire life again. And I'd be smarter this time =p (and maybe I could go to university when I'm 4!)

Lol well I'm not too sure about being locked away in a lab, but I guess it could happen 🤣 Hmmm dinosaurs... it would be totally awesome if I could bring some back and make my own Jurassic Land (not copyrighted).
Maybe I would go to the past to meet some of my deceased idols.

Well if they are from the future then they would know you are from the past.....More likely they will deport you back to the past as an illegal immigrant. 🤣

Definately past, would be interesting to see the future but that also means moving forward and basically being clueless about everything. Whereas in the past, can you say new Microsoft CEO? Lottery winnings? Sports bets? almost anything that I could remember and make my life much easier with. Then, after that, take the knowledge I have now of the events that will happen and make Nostradamus look like Ms. Cleo

I chose past.. Since the future is uncertain.. I'll go meet some famous persons.. And maybe even go to the time when Jezus lived, and see if he really existed.. 🤣

Well, scientifically speaking, travelling back in time is theoretically impossible.
To do so would require a machine capable of unlimited power output (basically the energy of a star, such as the Sun), and, it wouldn't actual travel. You'd have to build a device, and instead of traveling back in time, you'd be reversing the timeline the device itself follows since it's creation.
Thus, if you created a time machine, and waited a week, you'd only be able to go back in time a week, to when the machine first came into existence. A possible way around this would be using a wormhole (a traversable wormhole, only, otherwise you'd just die), but thats only theoretical, as is most of what I have just mentioned (Although Stephen Hawking commented that the only reason we havn't seen visitors from the future yet is because the device hasn't been created yet).
Travelling to the future would be much easier, due to time moving differently depending on where you are. Theoretically, if you traveled to another planet, say to Mars, for example, at light speeds, then turned around and came back, you could only have spent about three or four years on the trip, while on Earth, a hundred years or so could have passed. That would be considerd a form of time travel, due to the difference in realitive time that each reference point is experiencing.
Of course, theres also the theory that even if you time traveled, you'd only be able to do it to points in time where you existed, thus cutting out the option of going to the future, or any point before you were born.
Then there's the Paradox theories where you accidently kill yourself and cease to exist (which is in itself a Paradox since time is supposed to be one straight line, and if you were supposed to kill yourself, it would have happend, and you shouldn't have existed to begin with).
All things considered, I think I wouldn't time travel. Living in the present is the most important thing, and if I wanted to know what happend in the past, I could research it. The future is far too uncertain for me to worry about changing it, or experiencing it right now.
However, since there are only two options, and I must chose one, I will ignore all the scientific faults, and chose one.
I'd like to go to the future, just to see what the things I like, hobby wise, are doing. Ya know, video games, anime, and the like.

@Kaioh Interesting theory you have about time traveling, though I don't quite believe the Sun has an unlimited amount of power... nothing does... BUT let us remember that this is all fantasy and not a debate on the possibility, but rather the use.
Anyway... It's close to a tie at the moment. Even though the future is uncertain and there is no guarantee that anime and video games will still be around (I hope they are 😢 ), I am still leaning towards the future. However, an army of dinosaurs does sound pretty freakin' sweet 😀 ! Maybe an army of dinosaurs with robot body parts! Cyborg Dino Squad. Genetically and technologically enhanced to now be twice as carnivorous. Doesn't sound too bad imho 🤣 .

Good luck with meeting with Jesus. Before you go though, you should probably learn Arabic (unless you already know it) since that was the vernacular in those days. Oh, and his name would be pronouced like "Yeshua." 😀 I learned that from my scriptures class.
Hmm, I kinda want to go in the future, but not too far that I'll be completely confused. Maybe like fifty years. I wanna visit myself and see what I'm doing. Lol, then I can read the completed series of One Piece.
