Forgive me if I'm saying something stupid... But I noticed a lot of similarities between Leaf and Olimpos. Here's a few:

It appears some of the Leaf's drawing are similar to that of Olimpos. I don't know whether author used it as a base example, or strictly took it similar to Bleach and Reincarnate (or whatever). I have released 3-5 so feel free to compare. 🙂

Okay thank you! Those scenes were more close to each other than I thought 😲 There's actuallly a few more in the rest of the first chapter, but I didn't have enough time to sort all of them out. D:

I thought it wasn't very obvious so I didn't put it in the first post ^^' But if you notice their [their right] hand positions and the expressions, especially where the iris of their eyes are placed, it's pretty similar.

I looked into the rest of the chapters that are released, but I couldn't find anything else blatantly similar to Olimpos. I'm not sure if the artist traced any other manga though. 😔

So apparently the author says it's coincidental:

Here's how Chrome translates it:
"I declare here I am drawing the comic at the beginning of Olympus, as great propose begins with the story plot similar story is purely coincidental. And purely personal amateur comic creation, just like with the comic and to share with the general purposes, not for commercial way ..."

That's not a clear translation, so I got my mom to translate for me since I don't know enough Chinese to read all that. Pretty much AoliQi says she did trace Olimpos for the beginning of Leaf, but anything beyond the marriage part is entirely coincidental. She also said that Leaf was made purely for entertainment and public sharing purposes, not commercial.

Okay so I think that's a pretty legit answer...?

I think that as long as no one is purchasing her work, then it's fine... but I still don't accept that she traced, period. Where's the originality? If the work posted on her website is really hers, why was it necessary for her to trace (it seems like the posted sketches were nice enough)? How do we know that other pages in Leaf are not traces of other works? :/

I do agree with you statement; I'll look into this. If AoliQi got permission from Aki to trace her works, then I think it'll be okay. If not, I might have to email Aki or Leaf's manga (manhua) hoster about this. D:

Definite tracing there. But I think as long as she isn't benefiting financially there's nothing really illegal about it, right? People just won't think too highly of her is all.
