I don't want to rely on the search feature..
I want to read your sincere suggestions

I'm craving for Historical Manga with adventure and romance.
The romance can either be the a big part of the story or just a part of it.
Just like the title, I don't want any nonsense manga and I want the mood of the story to be a bit serious.

Any genre is OK with me: Shoujo, Shounen, Seinen, Josei, BL

Big plus if it's japanese manga.
But manhwa and manhua are also welcome if the story is good.

Thank you in advance
😁 😁 😁

If magic stuff is something you don't want feel free to ignore these... except Gosick. That one just got weird mysterious stuff.
Sora wa Akai Kawa no Hotori
Absolute Witch
Light and Shadow (Ryu Hyang)
Gosick
Legend of Nereid

Try
Basara - shoujo manga, 70+ chapters,

  • more focused on the adventure than the romance
  • Ignore the cover on MU it is not anything like what is worn (the MU cover looks modern, see the wikipedia entry for a better feel of the art/setting Basara Manga Wikipedia page )
  • Historical ambience in post-apocalypse world (feels like a historical fantasy. no modern technology)
