Hey.
I've been looking around at the sites of manga publishers, and I've noticed that about 1/3 of the time, the initial publication date for manga series here are either a year behind or a year ahead of what it says on the official sites.
I thought that perhaps, the year that the series first was featured in a magazine and the year that the first volume was published, or the initial publication dates for the original language and that of the English are being confused. So can I assume that the dates on the official site are correct?
I just wanted to make sure that there isn't some other reason that the inconsistency is occurring so often, before I go and correct the publication year (so that they are consistent with what's listed on the original publisher's site) for series here.
