Kishi is male, therefore it is probably easier for him to write from a boy's perspective.

Going back to the mind set, Temari understands what it means to be a Shinobi. Shinobi are tools for a village. It's true that friendship means a lot to everyone, but village first.

I know that this is off-topic, but the story never gives a clear definition for "shinobi", like it does for chakra and of the different ninja ranks and abilities. The story itself is defining what a real shinobi is. Is it village, friends, or self first? In that case, maybe Hinata is a better shinobi than Temari. (But personally, I don't exactly like Hinata.)

I wish that the story would pick up a bit faster now. We're only seeing Sasuke because he's the important character at the moment.

And I can't help but feel Sasuke to be incredibly over-powered and Naruto to be incredibly under-powered with a three year time difference.

It's definitely hinted at in the manga, but hasn't happened yet. Yea, it should happen. It'd be hilarious.

I don't think you'll ever see much of the new girl. After all, Sasuke's just using her for his mission and doesn't really care for her.

I personally like Sakura, Hinata, and Temari but not in that order. I think the new girl with the glasses is pretty cool too. But, it's funny how Ino practically have no votes to this point. Man, she really is unpopular isn't she? 😳

For me it's Temari and Hinata behind her...Temari is just that badass but still caring kind of girl that i love. As for Hinata she is also a good girl but comes in second for some issues we all know about...

I think Temari is hot and her attitude makes her seem crazy sexy to me. If that is a good reason to choose her as a fav, I dunno. Everyone will think I'm weird for saying that and think I am a closet pervo. Whatever, Temari is a hottie and her post time skip outfit doesn't do her any justice.
Also a flying weasel familiar is funny. Especially cuz it wears a Hamburgler mask!

Worst fem has to be TenTen. seriously, throwing about a million different weapons outta that scroll? BOOOOOOORING. Can she just go away or something?

holy balls, this is a hinata heavy forum. Man, its amazing how much popularity she has for being in the manga for absolutely no amount of time.

..out all the female characters in Naruto... My opinion of them is... well, not normal... Hinata is normal but boring... REALLY BORING... why does Kishimoto even bother drawing her in... she is the most unused character... and that's saying a lot considering that she's one of the ... rookie nine?... plus all the teachers (anko kurenai shizune kiba's sister) ... there just sub/minor characters that appear at random... Sakura... i don't really like her character... her character protrays ignorances and pettiness. Until recently in the anime, she's actually now, kind of likable or just toleratable...same thing with Ino... TenTen is normal, they don't really show her (underused)... they show Shizune more times than that of Ino, Tenten, and hinata put together... that's a lot considering that Shizune is just a sub-character..
