LOL "Ruler of Earth" makes the question biased towards the"no" option.
I'm still not sure what the question means. Only kings and dictators "rule" and maybe judges, not presidents or CEOs. With ruling does it mean positions of power like manager positions, positions with responsibility or positions with power over others (enforcers, Judges ..).

I'll put yes, since if you do your job well in a position where you're in charge of others you literally boost the whole ONG/company/team or whatever it is you're it charge of, even as someone that is part of a logistics team where you're not always in charge of others directly and decide routes or protocols.

Ii's not as if It dislike positions of authority/responsibility either.

I can't even take good care of myself, how the hell would I be able to manage a large company, country, or whole-ass planet? It would be a disaster, I'd run it into the ground.

Yes! Doesn't mean I'll be a good ruler though. Also the fact a lot of past rulers can get away after committing many atrocities and catastrophic destruction means a little trolling and tomfoolery is more than acceptable. Imagine making others do random bullshit with your authority.

No... I don't think I am the right kind of crazy to be a ruler...

Yes, but I don't want to bother with the socio-politics it takes to get there. I like to look at the goal, what it takes to achieve it and how everyone is feeling. I went from small business to corporate and there's so many stupid things we have to do and some is even based off bribes... I mean dysfunctional paid ad campaigns. Meanwhile if I was a leader and taking bribes to do something inefficient and stupid, I'd also share it with the peons so they STFU about it (because my choice to accept a dysfunctional bribe would affect more than just me as a leader). Happy workplace is happy people. Functional though I'd pocket.

CEO: Not really, managing people is stressful, pay and benefits are attractive, but I prefer to achieve potential within myself rather than a company.

Rule the world: That's cartoonish, reminds me of the narcissistic villains from cartoons. I think people that seek out power are unsuited to have the power, as they are normally seeking it for their own selfish reasons.
Being able to manage a country is not a reward or fun, it should be seen as a huge responsibility that somebody takes seriously. Anybody that takes it seriously will end up with worse sleep and worse quality of life, unless the person becomes jaded.
The risk of people becoming apathetic is another reason there should not be some form of long term rule.

I'd feel more comfortable being part of a council/senate where I'd represent smaller group and contribute views.

Nah, I'd like to live a peaceful life. Just pay me well and I won't complain much. 😀

I'm not the type to be a centre of attention, so being a leader is a no. I can't even motivate myself.
