I think the most stereotypical shonen 'element' is a character getting beaten by an enemy, training and getting stronger, defeating the enemy, and an even stronger enemy emerges. Repeat that cycle over and over and over and over again and you've got yourself Bleach! (I love Bleach, but seriously?) Naruto and Raman 1/2 is kinda like that too... and a lot of other series. 😔 it just gets annoying after a while.

Tempting to make another three acounts just to tick all those options... But, I think option three is the worst. Its so bloody overused. Bleach, Katekyo hitman, naruto, one piece.... 95% of shounen (based partially+ on fighting) will do this. Its infuriating.
And Irbeginner, rather than close my eyes, I close the page :]

Girls falling for the main character for no reason and that goes for shoujo too (but w/ the reverse). I'm fine if its just one but when theres many it just becomes...I can't think of a word for it..stupid, unbelievable, weird, I dunno. 😐 I hate the power of friendship thing when it's taken to ridiculous levels too. Especially when their friend becomes terrible and the lad needs to get put down.
Endless waves of stronger enemies (Main character fights someone who's supposed to be the strongest, holy shit, he was actually pretty weak)
father of fighting shounen the dragon ball 🤣 🤣 🤣
it sucks 🤢
"we are people because of other people"
"I am who I am because of who we all are"
