I absolutely loath most if not all gag manga. The majority of it has no story line and it makes for a boring read.

I loath gag manga, but I'm not against comedy. However both gag manga and non-gag manga with funny bits in it are considered a part of the "Comedy" genre. I think gag manga is different enough to have its own genre. That way it can be filtered out without also filtering out funny non-gag manga.
