I think aging is a part of life. You are aging even as you are reading this post. When I tumbled down a flight of stairs 10 years ago I sprung to my feet right away and went about playing. When I tumbled down the stairs a few months ago I started hyperventilating, got several muscle sores and twisted my ankle. Nothing very serious yet, but this just shows that I have aged. What I mean to say is that I have learnt to accept the several problems which come with growing old.
Incorporating yoga and meditation into daily life helps a lot. Yoga keeps the body fit and the latter keeps the mind fit 😀

Not really. I am more afraid of illnesses bound to aging.

Yup, totally. Next year my allowance will get cut off, that's VERY scary. That's the tip of the iceberg.

Hahaha 🤣 One advantage of being born in India means that there is no allowance. Parents provide you with money continuously 😃 No need to seek part time jobs of any sort.

Nope, I'm 18 and I have chronic, full body arthritis, so the really scary thing about getting old, which is getting sick, less active and stuff has already happened. (' 🤨 ')

Lol, shouldn't the allowance get bigger cause you need more money cause you're older??
@bakerygirl
That's nice, I'm not sure if it's the same for my country, never had to do any part time jobs anyway when I was studying... More time for hanging out and playing with my friends then..
Btw, How's the Yoga and Meditation?? ^^

I do seem to mention that a lot, don't I? I was forced into it by my mother because I used to get severe headaches very frequently. Now it's a daily activity for me. Lesser headaches too 😀
Haha, Yup ^^ I guess I saw you mention this already in 2 threads??
What I mean is, meditation is nice, kinda new to me, doesn't really encounter many people who (still) do this...
How do you do it, any tips?? 😛

We had to meditate for 45 minutes at the school I was in 11th grade. half an hour in the morning and 15 minutes in the afternoon. 🙄
Just close your eyes, focus on a particular thought (mostly some sort of mantra like om) and try not to fall asleep 🤣 That's the hardest part.

Not according to my parents. >口>
All my privileges as a child end the moment I turn 19. Some when I turn 18 in May. It took work to get them to agree to letting my allowance continue for one last year... I am, after all, no longer their responsibility. Problem is... religion bans me from working. -sigh- I'm back to 0 regular income again soon. Need more, get less.

For the most part no. Everyone in my family ages really well. My Grandma who is in her 70's within the last 5 years started to get grey hairs. The idea of my body falling apart does scare me to a degree but like other people have said living too long can be sad and boring.

Nope. But I'm not looking forward to it either. It's not something I get worried about. Who wants to get wrinkly
and snile? No one right? But it's just natural.
It'd be great dying at the ripe old age of 75 looking young though.

Yeah, the metabolism of a teenager is great.
