Does anyone know if there is any possible material left in the manga/novels for them to continue the anime? The ending didn't really provide... closure for me. >_<

Wasn't it because Key has Kanon 2006 to worry about? (At least that's what I heard...) Of course the novel has a TON of more stuff...

Dunno anything about Kanon... but I was reading some of volume 2 of the novels from somewhere, i can't remember. It looked though like the main part of the series was based around volume 1 of the novel, and then (from what I read of volume 2) it looked like some parts were taken from other volumes.. some major parts.. so I didn't know if maybe the novels were still being written or what.

Recently was able to watch the episodes that got me hanging which persuaded me to look up for the manga yet, what I was able to read wasn't also enough... I want to read more of them...

@Manick: you're not the only one...i don't see how anyone could feel a sense of closure from the anime...never read the novel so i wouldn't know...but since the anime only centered around vol 1 wouldn't there be sufficient material from the other volumes?

um...but the anime is going to continue....so it's not really a closure...i rememeber watching some weird trailer for the coming season of suzumi haruhi...

Well it is MAINLY centred around volume 1 but there are stories taken out of others. i've read up to Volume 6 of the novles... havn't had time to read more than that. But its definately worth reading. But anyway, though the anime didnt really geve me any closure either, its still one of my favourite Anime's of all time XD

Theres plenty of material left to go into the next series, it's coming later this year or next i think.

Can't wait for the next series 😃
