All,
I've added a new option in the user profile to filter series of selected type(s) from the releases, series, and stats pages. It's a long time coming.

Hey, nice going!
I'll admit that I feel like it'd better belong on the release filtering page, but this is nice too. It used to be a hidden feature, which this site apparently has many of!
Anyhow, thank you for the update!

This is great! It was kind of a pain having to hide each novel group individually as they popped up.
Good work!

Yeah, I think it would have been more logical to put it under release filtering.
If anyone's having problems find it, you have to go the forums and click "edit profile" near the top (almost under where it says "Logout")
But still, thanks Manick for this feature! I honestly didn't think there would be any new site developments for MangaUpdates.

Even though I've filtered novels as a whole, a title will still turn up on the release list if it's on one of my lists, right?
Thanks for adding the feature, Manick! Finally my release list is clutter-free.

Thank you for the change. The other type listings were really a pain in the ass since I'm only interested in manga releases.

Wow. Mangaupdates got an update, it must be a blue moon or something xP
It's a shame I recently started reading WNs/LNs, so the update doesn't affect me as much, but still - thank you.

Unfortunately, no...
You can PM me if you need a temporary (freelance) cleaner/redrawer for some project. Especially if it's something with nice art.
Being the lazy person that I am, I'm not likely to accept anything long-term though.

Darn, really? Guess I'll just have to make a separate novel list and keep an eye on that, then. Shouldn't be difficult, as there's only a handful.
Thanks for the info!

Thanks, just what we needed.
I hope it works fine.

Breaking my 531-day forum silence to say how much I appreciate you adding this feature. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I agree. Great feature to have, and much appreciated, but it would be better served having it under the release filtering page.
The problem with the way it is now, is that whatever you choose disappears from everything, not just the release page. This is a problem if I want to look up info about a series, for example, and it's not as easy to just do a search on the series info page anymore, as the titles won't show up there either.
Will give it a try for a bit, but I have a feeling I'll just end up reverting it back to the defaults.
They still show up in red if you go though your My Lists page. The Release section alone isn´t reliable enough for tracking anyway, if the chapters get submitted too late.
(Bye bye custom releases page user script.)
I also read EU/US comics and am a librarian.

The problem with that is that many series that are divided into volumes will show up the "biggest chapter number" instead of the "latest release"...
