it all started when i read this "steph meyer calling herself better than shakespear article- thread"...i have seen both anime and movie and gotta admit im not a fun of any of those two...but i wonder in terms of story which is better?? vampire or twilight??

just gotta know your opinion on this...

Vampire Knights it's definitely better than Twilight. I liked the first book of Tw but the story in VK is way better.

Tried them both and disliked them all the same. >_>;;

VK is mentioned in almost every manga-related site/forum I go to.
Twilight is mentioned everywhere I go to in RL.

So if I had to pick, I'd say VK. Only because I am not reminded of it at school, at work, when checking my mail, or even flipping through channels...every freakin' day. ._____.

I only read VK and lost interest. The art hurts my eyes. Maybe the anime is better. Twilight I haven't read/watched since it doesn't interest me at all. There should be a "neither" option.

Twilight really fcked up vampires image of being cool, dangerous and untouchable, now they look like EMO goth prettyboys with "feelings" and they SHINE in sunlight?? WHY STEPHANIE?!?!?!1 😔 🙁 >:-(

If I really really really had to choose.
I'd have to go with Vampire Knight.
Twilight is pure crap.
But at least Vampire Knight is a normal typical shoujo manga. (Minus the vampires.)

In the end, both make me want to gag.

Twilight's been made into an anime already? When? If it hasn't, it's not really a fair contest. Comparing the two makes no sense. The plot for VK is obviously better, I got confused a volume or two back and that takes a lot to do for a shoujo.

Vampire Knight is better. It has male and female fans, and not all of them are die hard like Twilight's fans.

@mewnbrite: The people who made the movie think they are going to make it into an anime. I hope they don't.

If there was a neither option I'd go for it. But since there isn't, I choose Vampire Knight. At least I did read a couple chapters of it with more or less interest before dropping it. Twilight I hated from the beginning. (For the die-hard fans out there who argue that you can't hate something without giving it a try: I did, got halfway and then threw it out because it was just awful.)

I find it interesting how there aren't any comments from real VK or Twilight fans yet. O.o

Vampire Knight anytime!
I cannot predict what's going to happen next with VK.
But with Twilight..... I guessed everything that happens next.

I get emotionally fustrated with Vampire Knight but with Twilight, it's one of those 'meh' same old, same old stuff.

Vampire Knight because it kept me interested longer than twilight did.
