I don’t think a "player" should differentiate between "player" and "NPC" since it seems there’s no real difference between the two. Players are spirits from another world, but NPCs appear to be human.

The player didn’t try to check if the barbarian was a player or an NPC.

He could have negotiated for items from the start instead of hiding his true level.

And I think this player couldn't be trusted
