Breaking Dawn, By Stephenie Meyer
Well, I just bought my copy yesterday, and I'm about 500+ pages into it. Got something to say about it, or need a little clarification, post it here. Now do I really need to go into details about using spoiler tags?

Being the nerd that I am, I went to the midnight release and finished it yesterday. heh.
Just going to put in my 2 cents...
Gotta say, Breaking Dawn really disappointed me. I guessed ahead of time that she would get pregnant and that if she became a vampire, it would only be in order to save her life. =\ it was too predictable.. I prefer books with lots of plot twists. The only thing I didn't see coming was Jacob imprinting on the baby. As for the ending, I wanted a fight. :( it would've been interesting if the Volturi were overthrown and Carlisle started a new, more effective, and more peaceful means of governing the vampire world. I also think some of the stuff was pretty random and not needed, like the J. Jenks thing. Alice could've just left the papers for Bella and that would've eliminated a couple chapters that I saw no point to whatsoever.

i went to the midnight release....i finished this morning and i must agree with pearlized about some parts
I was a bit disappointed. not because I thought it was too predictable, actually, I didnt think any of that stuff was going to happen (hehe) but I think its because the reason I originally liked twilight was because it was an adorable highschool romance between a vompire and a girl, and breaking dawn was...less so.
I still think it was good 🙂

Being the forgetful person that I am. Forgot that it was being released and didn't remember until 2 days after. Pfft, and I kept pushing off preordering it. So i have yet to buy or read it yet, but i'm not that obsessed with it anymore, so i can wait a couple of days to go out and buy it =D

It was too "happily ever after" for my tastes. =/
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE ANGST? DRAMA? CONFLICT?
I WANT MY ANGST.
And the whole Jacob/Nessie thing was whack.

Gotta agree with you there.
No one died seriously! I mean after the whole confrontation with the Voluturi...it just sorta died. All that suspense and building up to just a happily ever after? I was expecting a tragic ending with Jacob dead or something.. And the book would have much more impact if a character was killed off....
It was good..just not as good as the books before..

Ok, I'm going to tell you about my breaking dawn adventure. =)
I live in Amsterdam so the book came out on the 4th of august instead of the second.
I went to the bookstore to go get my copy! ....The books hadn't arrived and they told me to come back 2 days later. Well my friends and I were having a dress emo day (don't ask) so it took allot of time before we were at the bookstore.......guess what it was sold out!
Luckily my mother got me a copy while she's in ireland so I'm finally recieving my breaking dawn<3 tomorrow can't wait! 😀

I got it the day after the Midnight release, and finished it the same day.
Lemme say, the only good part was when she freakin' first became a vampire. Then it got realllllyyy stupid. Still, I wish she had massacred those humans, or at least went berserk and like... killed people.
