*Spoilers* I'm going to come out and say it

It seems like an obvious plot twist, but I'm going to guess that Ifkes is probably Ascheriit's son. It would explain Ifkes' status as a "slave blade", as the son of a famous traitor probably wouldn't be treated too well, and they do look awfully similar... Not to mention they're both young prodigies with the sword.
As to Ascheriit's age when he died, he seems like he's not... inexperienced, so that shouldn't cause any issues.

you might wanna label this with spoilers. and i totally agree with you

I guess if a mod would be so kind, would you please add (spoilers) to the topic title?

okey then...who is his mother?...
and also when ascherit went on the journey 20 years ago he probably around 18 or 20... so i say no...
its just gives too much plot to holes...

Why does that matter? I don't understand.

At that age a human is able to reproduce. Since we're in a historical fantasy setting, that's even marriageable age.

nice idea, I feel stupid for not coming up with it. Also, We know that ascherit is "experienced" so him having a kid becomes more likely.

so what if asche is 18 - 20 you can say that he is ummm... able or can (can't find a right word for it so you know were it goes)
maybe while on the journey/quest that time he met someone and have a romantic relationship or something like that

well it does... i mean if he cared enough to have a child with her..he must atleast remember him time to time?...

what you call experience is due to his elven body...

well its possibility...but if he did.. atleast there should been a sign in the manga.. that he met a girl on the way..
and i doubt there will be one...

I don't really get you here. You mean that elf body makes you better in bed? ie. bigger? faster? 😲
Anyway..like the dude above said, I heard that it's already revealed but I'm not sure since I can't read chinese or jap.

The slaveblade does resemble Koinzell (flashback version), so its possible that they are father/son.
mini spoiler below
Oh btw Koinzell has a fairy/human body. I don't think that counts as a spoiler but I'll put up a slight tag I guess.

Oooh, that's what I thought when I first saw Ifkes too O_O Plus, he's very determined to inherit the title, though that could just be a coincidence.

If you haven't noticed, they seem to treat sex rather casually in this manga... so it might not have been a romantic tryst.

Judging by the age Glenn seems to have now, and the fact that * aka Koinzell began the journey when he was a kid (14 at the most), is indeed possible for Ikefes to be his bastard son, but that HAD to happen during the war (and I am sure as hell the 14 lances used their Imperial favor with the lady's), so YEAH, I agree, but I was thinking more in the line of brother's, but a son!!! heck I can see it coming 🙂

It's unlikely that Ikfes is his brother considering that he was found as a child by a blacksmith, then again he had amnesia and was lost...
A bit off topic but the newest chapter of Ubel Blatt (66 or v8 ch1) is pretty good, introduced all of the holy lances.
My memories a bit bad but the remaining five lances are all male right?
There were two female lances in the latest chapter. One a mature beauty is a possible mother and the other was a bit young but still a possibility to be a mother. Then again the young one looks a bit androgynous to me but at the same time is the one that is most likely Ikfes' mother.
I finally learned how to use the spoiler thing 😀
By getting off topic I somehow got back on topic ha ha. Anyhow it'd be unfortunate if one of the holy lances were the mother since she's most likely been killed by the seven. Actually wouldn't it be interesting if the mother was actually one of the seven? I wonder how Koinzell would feel fighting against the woman he sired a child with. I'd like to see that... That is if my hypothesis is right -_-'
