Thank you for the suggestion but i'm not a fan of tragedy xD thank you though ^_^
Hmmm....two manga series....well....how bout you look around on this site, go to genre, the search through genre and you can elimnate what you don't want and add the stuff you want....then you can look at others reviews where the little bar graph is on the page....thats what I would do, but someone else might have better options....just keep you mind open! Hope your able to find what you want! 😀

I have no idea what your taste is, so I'm gonna suggest what I own. If you want better suggestions, give some specifics.
Forest of Gray City is pretty awesome and has gorgeous art (but it's manwha).
If you like Eureka 7, the prequel Eureka Seven: Gravity Boys & Lifting Girl is only 2 volumes.
Fall In Love Like a Comic is totally shoujo but decent reread material, and the "How to Draw Manga" bonus at the end is too cute.
You could also buy a longer series and be happy that you got a gift certificate for the first two. There are a ton of romances that are only 3 volumes long.

Hmm... this is quite random, but I recently read a reasonably good two-volume series called Kieli. It has a rather interesting twist on the "person-who-can-see-ghosts" thing, and was overall quite interesting. I'd definitely recommend it. It has action and violence, though, beside the romance; I'm not sure if it's the sort of thing you're looking for. The description on the site here is slightly different, so this is what the publisher (Yen Press) has to say about the series:
Kieli sees ghosts. It’s an odd ability for a 14-year-old girl, and it makes her a bit of an outcast at her boarding school. Her only friend, in fact, is the (semi-) departed spirit of a girl who used to inhabit her room. That is until the two encounter a young man who appears to share Kieli’s “gift.” It doesn’t take long to discover, though, Harvey is an altogether different sort of creature — one of the infamous Undying, the reanimated corpse of a dead soldier. Could it be that in this cursed fellow Kieli has finally found a kindred spirit? Throwing in her lot with this strange, soulless man and his possessed radio, she means to find out…
