I like the way Oba justified the betrayal, and how it set Whitebeard into action.

We are witnessing a master story teller at work.

There is only one thing that's bugging me after squad reveal WB and marines (fake agreement) the last den2x is cut off.

So I was right in thinking it wasn't Don Flamingo and Whitebeard being caught off guard was weird. Crocodile's reaction was pretty surprising (a Vegeta type response, to be honest) saying that Whitebeard shouldn't be that weak. Anywho, looking forward in seeing the world's strongest man (or is it now the world's ex-strongest man?) in action. Sengoku and Akainu sly sly s.o.b.'s for manipulating Squad like that. And I'm also looking forward to seeing Luffy's reaction against the marines for them manipulating someone into betray their own nakama. Damn this is going to be fun to read.

Wow! what an impressive chapter this turns out to be! Once again, Oda knows how to tell a great story.

As for what will happens next, I'm pretty sure the Marines will be owned by Whitebeard (and Luffy) big time!

whats blackbeard gonna do. it looks obvious that he ran away from the war because he didn't want to be there to see whitebeard. am still curious to see how he will escape from impel down with the poison guy there and even if he does escape from impel down, how is he gonna get the marines to open the gates.

i can't wait for the rest of the straw-hat crew to get back in the story line.

Great chapter, I just love Whitebeard.
I also like the fact that there's no God-like character in One Piece. Even THE Whitebeard has aged.

Notice that Oda doesn't say: "a break to collect information" anymore.
Guess he's collecting something else 😀
