NinjaBuzz Staff writes: *Due to a numerous spam attack and cyber stalking over the last year by a user whom simply identifies themselves as Stephan Fry, Ninjabuzz will stop distributing the Naruto Anime and Manga series by January 1st 2008, this will give the users in our community time to adjust with the cease and removal of all Naruto releases from NinjaBuzz, it will also allow our affiliates time to find new consistent sources for distribution purposes.
NinjaBuzz sincerely thanks all affiliates whom continued supporting our releases over the last couple years. NinjaBuzz whom were formerly NarutoBuzz successfully made over 100+ releases of the Naruto Manga and every episode of Naruto Shippuuden to date. We thank everyone that enjoyed our releases, and could care less what the leechers with shameless comments can and will say. We are now endorsing MangaShare as an alternative source for Naruto Manga and obviously Dattebayo will now be the only group doing the Anime consistently yet again. We would just like to state that this decision was not rushed.
The Cyber stalker/Hacker/Spammer has made numerous attempts to contact members of the NinjaBuzz team, he has hacked the server gaining remote access (1 week ago) and has continued a massive spam attack against us. Just so you know the government created internet watchdog groups would not give the time of day to deal with a matter such as ours and because of that and us honestly being tired of all the crap are effectively stopping the releases. Keep in mind we are not closing NinjaBuzz.com, it will still recieve news and updates and hopefully become a media outlet like Narutocentral, however that is all and if the attacks continue the website will be taken offline as well.
You can find more information regarding our closure at www.ninjabuzz.com*

to tell you the truth, i kinda wanna say good riddance. i feel like alot of people got cheated out of their donations. when the old narutobuzz site was still around, i believe they where asking for a large sum of money so they could build the narutobuzz.com that is today. they said that it would be a one time thing and that they wouldn't ask for donations anymore after that yet they still did......i also didnt agree with the way they would threaten to stop scanlation if they didnt receive an amount of donations. but whatever, what other people do with their monies is none of my concern.

Man why can't these type of people target groups like "A word to Stephan Fry: Narutofan needs you help!".
Come on already its all well and good to have your kicks but doing a public service every once in a blue moon isn't too much is it?

Stephan Fry, when you get some free time, it would really make me happy if you would go after Narutofan, and spam/hack the shit out of them. Keep up the good work. Best of luck to you

first off... wow... i never thought i would agree with ed...
"Just so you know the government created internet watchdog groups would not give the time of day to deal with a matter such as ours" -- you do know what you are doing is technically illegal in the first place so why would you want the government stepping in?

wow, everyone here is so harsh. i mean i totally agree with the narutofan part, but why bash a scan group just because they are one in a very large group of groups whom sub a popular anime and manga(scan). im not very familiar with narutobuzz since i use dattebayo, but what ever they do, even if they did threaten to stop scans if their donation limit is not meet, people who donate had a choice of doing so or not. which goes for scans of the manga and subs for the anime as well. all im trying to express is that people should not be so harsh, publicly bashing a who has already endured abuse for some time (even if they were corrupt to some point) does not deserve such insult from people who download and read manga online. its exactly the same as people who complain about how slow a subbing group is at releases, the subbing group is usually doing the subbing out of their good will, as such; people who complain like that is to me trash.

my reason for bashing this group isn't because they are scanning an already much scanned manga. nor is it because people donate to them, i could care less if a person is ignorant enough to get suckered out of their money. but what i do care about is the person who has the audacity to try and do the suckering. that, to me, shows that the only "good will" the group is trying create is the "good will" of their pockets. sorry for being just trash to you, but that's how I see things.

Most people have nothing against big fansubbing groups. It's just the groups doing popular shounen projects like naruto or bleach. Whenever a chapter is out, there will be at least 10 scanlated versions of it, of which only 1 will be actually worth downloading. Why does narutobuzz need to ask for donations in such a forcefull manner when other groups do it without asking for donations at all? Scanlating Naruto is a waste of manpower and they should do other projects. Then they could ask for donations if necessary and then there would be no reason to complain about speed or quality. (I'm not justifying the narutobuzz donation issue though)

because the quality of their work is shit. and they have the audacity to ask for donations which, they claim is for their website which is also looks like shit.
