I was just wondering if anyone could elaborate the ending for me, I'm pretty sure it was wrapped up nicely, but I still don't get a lot of it. like how is pare alive? and who is postale? and what is the secret?

It was kind of hard to pick up on, but Corbulo (the pope's right-hand man, the fencer with the tatooed face) was Postale. I don't think the pope ever said it directly, but when Corbulo says, "Pare was right, you look better with long hair," he's referring to this page.

Also, as to how Pare is alive, if you read the beginning of c.11 again you'll notice that Buzz never sees (or gets to examine, anyway) Pare's body. Postale/Corbule just tells him that he's dead. Presumably, the ruse was so that Asklepios would be lured into performing the public operation. Not sure exactly how Pare survived the bolt, though 😉

And which secret are you referring to? They didn't explain the secret of the Biblos, which was kind of annoying.

Hope that helps!

By any chance are you the scanlator? if you are, tnx a ton.

So that's what it is, I was kinda thinking of that as well, I just needed a second opinion to erase my doubts.

Yup I was referring to the secret of the Biblos, lol the secret of the pope and corbulos would have been a big one if the series wasn't cancelled. tnx a lot for answering my questions.

In the end, this type of manga would be impossible to stretch. It should have at least gone up to 5 volumes if anything to finish the story correctly, but I'm not complaining that much. Hopefully the author can come up with something good.
