I have finished reading the story. I am confused by the ending.

Do Soma really die in Cambodia? If he do, why does Mako speak to his look-alike son she meet in a photos exhibition : " I told you we will meet again." ,as if she is talking to Soma, not his son?

Is the son his reincarnation or something?, or does Mako revive him? or Mako only just says that too look cool? ???

By the way, it is a great manga.
