It's his master plan isn't it and also if he's all powerful why let it continue cause someone I never met ate an apple from a tree I never heard of? That's just malicious and vindictive and why does a god harbour a 2000 year grudge on the decendants of the decendants. That's just dumb i'm sorry if you're too whatever in love with his wonder to see reality but that's just common sense my friend.
It's not that God has grudge on us. But you raise a very interesting question? What is sin? Is it so bad that a person's sin that was made all the way back to creation would impact me today here in 2007.

Hey gir I already used the ant farm one at the beginning of the thread haha. Yeah, I know. 😛
I just don't understand his logic sometimes could it be that god's just this ogre or perhaps a little kid with a snowglobe containing the universe and he's always shaking it just to see what happens lol. Too much innocents suffer for me to say that god is merciful and compassionate.
God wasn't merciful and compassionate in the old testament. Those are probably our standards for what a great god would be.

Gee, ever heard or sadism? Hell, he could have killed off Eve if he knew she would eat the damn apple but he didn't. He let her chew it and then kicked her out and told her to live with the pains of childbearing. There's God for ya.

I would just ask before we go off judging God, who is in the wrong here? Is it God for telling eve and Adam that the fruit is going to kill you so don't eat it, or is it eve and adam that disobeyed God?

Well what do you think about this. For everytime we as humans screw up God always finds away to work with us. When Adam and eve sinned for the first time He found away to cover sin with sacrifice. Whenever The Jews doubted and sinned again God made another Covenant. Its the same thing over and over again. But I can't explain everything I have not studied the old testament or even the new testament well enough to give you a very satisfying answer but I would just hope that before criticizing God you would look into your own life and see the many sin that plagues you, and would consider God's mercy to help you see victory over that sin.

Lol@chu God CREATED us. He made us and injected curiosity into our blood. If he can foresee the future, why then did he do it? Maybe he wanted to test Eve, fine. Why didn't he kill her off then when she contradicted him? Not only did he kick her out, he multiplied her childbearing pains. Did he stop there? No. He went on to make sure she gave birth to god knows how many kids so they would go through the SAME pains as her. Tell me what does it say?
The question remains: Should the son pay for the father's sins?
Edit: Oops, I missed the last post.
He decided to torture us and then sends someone down so we can worship him blindly and faithfully, not thinking at all. Uh-huh.

No need to, you're not the only one running in circles, the whole argument is. No one among you feels like he/she can be truly convinced right?

Ok lets say that we won't count that sin that was done by adam and eve. Let's now look into our own lives, are you still sinless?

@liquid_hell, it seems you are really thinking of god's decision.. Hmm... no, i do not think that is what the god should do. But hey, what you're saying might be thanks to the human's gossip!

Wasn't it that we are all born into this world not without sin? No one is sinless because of point A so we revert back to Adam and Eve. If Eve hadn't committed what she did, would we even be alive?

bible say, we are all sinners. But who said this? The people who accorded the Word of Christ. I don't know if we can trust them or not. It's not like God came to earth and personally told us this.
