What about cliffhanger endings?

Those truly suck

I do hate stories with cliffhanger endings. Can you tell me what manga you read that had cliffhanger endings? The only ones I read so far that had them were Kurozakuro and Zombie Powder (And that's because they were both canceled)

you said it yourself....

I thought Zombie Powder showed some promise, but you saw what happened there.

So those are the only two you've read that had cliffhanger endings?

Depends on your point of view.

Besides the ones you mentioned, in my eyes this ones had a crappy ending (Cliffhanger)
MxO
Hatsukoi limited
Evil's Return

Bah I hate it

God...I gotta sit down one day and read all of these manga that people keep telling me about lol.

The only one I read from your list is Hatsukoi Limited, and I agree with you. Most of the kids were alone because the person that they liked was too stupid to see that what they had in front of them was better than what they wanted (ESPECIALLY Ayumi, she's a character that deserves to get raped 🤣 )

Meh don't know if this is considered a plot hole but how the hell do soul's grow up sometimes in Bleach (ie. Rukia/Byakuaya) and sometimes stay completely the same (ie. Shunsui). I just don't get it xD. I could prolly add to this later @_@...

That confuses me too This page I found on TV Tropes kind of explained it, but most of the answers seem liked that they guessed the best they could.

It's the second question that starts with "Two Words: Soul Society."

The Data book of bleach contains a lot of information to explain several "unclear" situations, but no one is translating it... I mean I only want the textual translation, I don't need more than that

reid1, we should meet in public. we'd have a field day talking and debating about manga lol. I don't think that everything in a story needs explaining, but just certain things that don't follow the rules that were made in the universe, or the rules in real life. The reason why I posted this is because I want to become a writer and I wanted to see people's opinions about plot holes.

Before I wanted to become a writer, I would go read any story.without worrying about past events, how characters acted, the rules for the story's universe, etc. Then, when I would go on the internet to see what other people thought about the current story that I was reading. i would see all these people breaking down the story and talking about what was good and what was bad (Most of the rants were about the bad parts.) When I decided to become a writer, I remembered those rants and because of that, I try to learn what makes a story good and what really makes it really popular. That's why I question everything in a story that I don't understand. When someone can explain it to me so that I can understand it, it actually helps me learn how to make my stories better. I'm trying to make my 3 stories as good as possible without any plot holes so that people can truly enjoy it.

Now that I outed myself 🤣 , have you come across any plot holes in a manga (or any story)?

Partially me too. I'm gonna be a teacher and if I got enough free time I wanna try to write something. I spend most of my time to read and a good part of authors other people love literally suck (at least for me).

Anyway I'm more tolerant to manga than to books. Because a mangaka should keep weekly or monthly deadline and I can understand that something should be done hastily. So if there is a small plot hole it doesn't bother me. I'm more critical to characters behaviour than plot holes, in particular for manga which want to be realistic.

But anyway you want an example of what is a tremendous, gigantic plot hole for me?

BLEACH

First chapter Ichigo's father enter the room and Ichigo tell him that he's talking to the samurai girl near him (Rukia). He doesn't see anything and Rukia explained that ORDINARY MEN couldn't see a shinigami.
At the end of Volume 21 Ichigo's father makes his appearance in the story as a shinigami or I don't know what. He got superpowers, he kicks shinigami asses, he can see his son while he's a shinigami, he can see OTHER SHINIGAMI, he's related to soul society in a don't know which manner because I stopped reading that crappy manga.
So I can only suppose (or maybe you have a better idea) that the mangaka didn't take in account to transform him in a ex shinigami from the beginning but made that up during the story because he didn't know how to progress (in fact next arc is also the same as the previous one). Even if you and people can explain this in a reasonable manner, I won't change my opinion about that.

Insert facepalm. 🤢

Don't make baseless assumptions.
The mangaka even had Shinji planned from the very first chapter...

Also, it's very likely he really didn't see Rukia.
Since he only recovered his powers recently (!).

It would make alot more sense to explain where Ichigo got his humongous power from, instead of saying he's just an anamoly that occurs once in a thousand years.

Yes, you're right. Even my shinigami power keep going away and coming back. It often happens to us shinigami. -.-

And he casually got it back in just some weeks while they were in Soul Society? Good coincidence.

And all the other people who have powers? Every character in that manga has superpowers. All of them have a father like that?

Wut. 😕 Tell me one other case...

Well, that's still to be explained. Maybe it's some after-effect?
It hasn't even been elaborated on...

Now if this was a complete manga, that would make it a plothole.
But it's still on-going.

I was sarcastic on the first one. 🙂

Anyway even if he lost temporally his powers, it's not that he forgot everything. If I'd have been a shinigami and someone told me that there is an INVISIBLE GIRL DRESSED AS A SAMURAI near him, I'll immediately think of a shinigami and not be totally oblivious and walk away (he also mentioned having some problems with Soul Society so he should be aware of them).

You want other holes? Here it is:

Next day everyone forgot everything. But Rukia mentioned that she lost his powers because they entered Ichigo. So who replaced their memories? It couldn't be another shinigami 'cause they went searching for Rukia next volume and they didn't know where she was. You could say that Rukia used her last powers to do that, but is it something that she can do with any barely ability left (she said so)?

That's just for the first two chapters, these are all stuff that I can forgot in a manga if the manga is a good one, but to me in Bleach there is too much stuff that doesn't make sense. But there were too many, if I started re-read it I can find them, but I don't want to do that.

About the ongoing part, ok, but I'm not going to read all the manga just to see if something will make sense at the end. Even the fights to me are not so good, he just looks to me that the good ones win because the mangaka is supporting them.

LOL

If you look the chapter again you will see that the Shinigamis are like the MBI, they have a little machine that replaces memories at random (but is always withing the limits of what the person could believe (that is why Orihime things a Sumo fell from the sky and did that HUGE hole to her apartment and her friend (Kasuki right?) remembered a very different thing :) )))

PS: The the bunny shaped thing

I hope that helps 🤣

And I was just emphasizing the ridiculeness of that statement.

Either way, I think this is more a
matter of taste instead of plot holes.

But it seems to me that all the Ichigo's family remembered the same stuff.

Anyway I'll stop here, 'cause I don't want to talk about Bleach anymore. 🙂
