I hate the opening for Shion no Ou. The music doesn't fit at all.

I know what you mean. His voice sounds "throat-y" (like he's using his throat instead of his diaphragm to sing, creating a raspy and unpleasant sound). I liked the guitar (or was it drums?) part, but when he starts to sing... The other anime opening/ending is the opening to Shinigami no Ballad. Oh, but I hate "What's up, people" even more. I agree with xombiemonkey. The One Piece rap made me want to hunt the singer down. I'm glad that funmation kept the original tune, but the translations and singer could be better.

i like it as a song...but its not good for that anime.
