I'm gonna be shot for this: the opening of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. It made me want to rip out the speakers and lock them away...faar away.

I'll tell you my favorite too. Chain = by Back-On. The Intro to Air Gear. This song is my anthem.

I don't think it's the worst op out there but I could see why people don't like it.
Ha ha ha That is kind of funny that it scared you. I'm sure you aren't the only one who was startled by it.

i thought the 4th gundam seed destiny op was quite bad.

For a bizarre anime like Paranoia agent, I though they were quite appropriate. By themselves, they are horrible, but with the anime they're ok.

Worst opening: 1st Naruto opening (english or japanese, doesn't really matter)
Worst ending: trigun.

Nevermind, thinking about it probably the ending to Yamato nadeshiko shichi henge was bad. I stopped it everytime.
